Entry qualification

High school / secondary education (or higher) Additional educational documents (such as results of state examinations or pre-University education) might be required according to applicant’s country of residence. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian / Russian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Language requirements

English Required level – B2 Assessments of English language proficiency certificates equivalent to level B2: • TOEFL IBT 65-78 • IELTS 5.0-6.5 • DUOLINGO 100-125 Applicants with an English language proficiency level of B1 may still be considered for admission. However, it is a condition of acceptance that these students undertake additional English language courses (Minor studies) during their first year of study. Overview

The main purpose of university undergraduate studies is to educate qualified bachelor degree students of psychology ready to continue master degree studies in psychology or other social sciences. Bachelors of psychology should be able to apply psychological knowledge in scientific and ethical way in different circumstances; they should have wide erudition, high psychological culture and a need for permanent professional development.

Study programme provides basic psychological knowledge which is necessary to continue further studies oriented toward practical application or science. Programme prepares narrow profile specialists, namely psychologists.

Programme fulfills requirements of bachelor degree psychology programme of EFPA European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations.

Career opportunities

On completion of studies, the graduates may continue in postgraduate studies of psychology (or other social sciences studies) and seek Master’s degree and a further independent career.
